The Workshop “Nanoparticles, Environment and Health” was held at Imperial College London on 18th June 2010. This workshop was organised by the NaNoRISK (Nanotoxicology Research in South Kensington) Initiative with participation of Prof. Boccaccini as a member of the Management Committee of NaNoRISK. This initiative provides a platform for the study of nano-sized materials in relation to the environment and human health. The aim is to establish multidisciplinary research in the hazard and risk of nanomaterials and to develop safe applications of nanotechnology.
