Visit of Dr. Barbara Shollock
Dr Barbara Shollock, Department of Materials, Imperial College London (UK), visited the Institute of Biomaterials on 13-15 May 2013. Dr Shollock presented the lecture “Metals in challenging environments: advanced characterisation of metallic surfaces” in the framework of the Materials Colloquium of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Dr Shollock discussed with Prof. A. R. Boccaccini the Erasmus exchange program between the two Departments which has been very successful since its establishment in 2010 following the move of Prof. Boccaccini from Imperial College London to the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
