EU ITN GLACERCO Workshop in Erlangen
The network-wide Workshop of the EU ITN Glacerco project was held in Erlangen organised by Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini on 8-9 October 2013. The program of the workshop is available. Invited speakers were: Dr. R. Mueller (BAM, Berlin), Prof. C. Zollfrank (TU Munich), Prof. W. Peukert (Univ. of Erlangen-Nuremberg), Prof. J. Moya (Institute of Materials Science, Madrid, Spain) and Prof. K. K. Chawla (University of Alabama at Birmingham, AL, USA). On behalf of the coordinating institution, Polytechnic of Turin, Italy, Prof. M. Salvo gave the introduction to the workshop. The principal investigators of almost all partners attended the workshop and the current early stage (ESR) and advanced (ER) researchers presented the advances of their projects. The local organising committee in Erlangen did a fantastic job taking care of all details for a successful workshop.
