Prof. Boccaccini in Croatia
On 24-26 November 2013, Prof. Boccaccini visited the Rudjer Boskovic Institute in Zagreb (Croatia), in the framework of our collaboration with Prof. Neven Zarkovic and Dr Lidija Milkovic. This project investigates the development and characterisation of Cu-doped bioactive glasses for bone regeneration strategies and studies cellular response and vascularisation in contact with novel silicate glasses. The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The first results of the project have been recently published [1].
