Award for Giulia Rella in Belgrade
The Thirteenth Young Researchers’ Conference (13YRC) – Materials Science and Engineering was held on December 10-12th, 2014, in Belgrade, Serbia, organised by Materials Research Society of Serbia and the Institute of Technical Sciences of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Young researchers (master and doctoral students), as well as recently graduated doctors, presented the results of their research at the conference dedicated to advanced materials and technologies including new synthesis and processing methods, materials for high-technology applications, theoretical modelling of materials, nanostructured materials and biomaterials. Giulia Rella, PhD student of our Institute, presented a talk on electrospinning of biopolymers for cardiac patch applications. She won an award for one of the best presentations based on research’s originality, innovation as well as science and clarity of presentation, relevance of results and quality of answers.
