Visit of Prof. Cornelia Kasper
Professor Cornelia Kasper, affiliated with the Institute of Biotechnology at University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, BOKU, Vienna, Austria, visited the Institute of Biomaterials on 5-6 March 2015 to present a seminar in the framework of our “Advances in Biomaterials” seminar series. She delivers the lecture: “Cultivating stem cells for tissue engineering and cell based therapy applications under physiological conditions using 3 D matrices in dynamic bioreactor systems” and discussed a range of areas for collaborations with the members of the Institute of Biomaterials in the field of stem cells and bioactive glasses for bone tissue engineering. Our paper in collaboration with the group of Prof. Cornelia Kasper has just been published in the March 2015 issue of JBMR-A [1].
