New collaboration with China
In the framework of the DAAD program for collaborations with China, a new research project has been awarded to the Institute of Biomaterials in collaboration with the Engineering Research Centre for Biomedical Materials of Ministry of Education in East China University of Science and Technology (Shanghai, China). The project contemplates the exchange of young and senior researchers for two years working in the field of hierarchical Mg doped mesoporous/macroporous scaffolds with enhanced vascularisation ability for bone regeneration. Previous research on the subject by our group has been published recently in the Journal of the American Ceramic Society [1].
