Prof. Boccaccini visits Ansbach University of Applied Sciences
In the framework of the project of Ms Y. Schroeder, Biomedical Engineering, Ansbach University of Applied Sciences co-supervised at our Institute by Dr. R. Detsch and Prof. Boccaccini, in the field of additive manufacturing of biodegradable polymer scaffolds for bone tissue engineering, Prof. Boccaccini visited Ansbach University of Applied Sciences on 9th April 2015. The project was carried out in the framework of our research activities in the field of additive manufacturing and biofabrication which involve not only the production of cell free biopolymer 3D scaffolds, but also the biofabrication of constructs based on cell loaded hydrogels [1, 2].
