Prof. Boccaccini visits universities in San Rafael, Argentina
Prof. Boccaccini visited several institutions during his stay in San Rafael, Argentina. He visited the Regional Faculty of Universidad Tecnologica Nacional where he talked to undergraduate engineering students about his research activities in the field of biomaterials. He also held meetings with colleagues at Faculty of Applied Industrial Sciences (FCAI) of National University of Cuyo . Prof. Boccaccini collaborates with the research group led by Dr. M. J. Santillan and Eng. F. Membrive at FCAI in the in the field of bioactive coatings for biomedical applications [1], co-supervising also the doctoral thesis of Eng. Silvia Clavijo. Prof. Boccaccini also gave an invited talk about “Nanotechnology and Bioactive Materials” at Rotary Club San Rafael Este. In the photos, with Prof. Boccaccini, Eng. F.
