Prof. Boccaccini: invited speaker at bone-tec 2015
Prof. Boccaccini was one of the invited speakers at the International Bone Tissue Engineering Congress, bone-tec 2015, held in Stuttgart, Germany, on 8-10 October 2015. The conference was chaired by Prof. Katja Schenke-Layland (Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology, IGB, and University Hospital Tübingen, Dept. of Women’s Health) and it was hosted by IGB. Prof. Boccaccini’s presentation was: “Development of bioactive glasses with metal ion releasing capability for enhanced vascularisation in bone tissue engineering”. bone-tec 2015 was a very successful interdisciplinary conference with participation of scientists, engineers and clinicians who presented contributions on all bone tissue engineering areas.
