Prof. Boccaccini, invited speaker in Prague
Following an invitation of Prof. Aleš Helebrant and Dr. Dana Rohanova, Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini presented on 2nd November 2015, the guest lecture “Bioactive Materials and Biofabrication in Tissue Engineering: Progress and Challenges” at the Department of Glass and Ceramics, University of Chemistry and Technology (UCT), Prague, Czech Republic. Prof. Boccaccini also discussed further research collaborations and academic exchanges between the FAU Institute of Biomaterials and UCT in the field of bioctivity testing of bioactive glasses and ceramics, following the results of recent collaboration [1, 2] between the two research groups.
