Visits from Malaysia
Dr. Hasan Zuhudi Abdullah and Dr. Maizlinda Izwana Idris, from the Department of Materials Engineering and Design, Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia, are visiting the Institute of Biomaterials for an extended research period to carry out collaborative research in two research fields. Hasan is working on bioactive coatings by electrophoretic deposition, following our recently published results [1], while Maizlinda is focusing on the development of hydrogel-inorganic filler composites, which are emerging interesting systems for applications in tissue engineering and biofabrication [2].
