Emerging Fields Initiative: Molecular Communications project kick-off meeting
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the kick-off meeting of the project “Molecular Communication”, funded by the Emerging Fields Initiative (EFI) of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. The meeting took place on 3rd Feb. 2017, organised by project coordinator Prof. Robert Schober, Chair for Digital Communications, Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering (EEI), FAU. Prof. Boccaccini presented the lecture “Hydrogels for biomolecule and cell encapsulation”, in which he introduced the planned contribution of the Institute of Biomaterials to the project, developing biocompatible hydrogels for encapsulating biomolecules and cells and highlighting the contribution of materials to testbed systems.
