First exchange visit to Northwestern Polytechnical University in China
From 15.2. until 8.3.17 two PhD students of our Institute (Ms Yuyun Yang and Ms Svenja Heise) and one PhD student of WW4 (Mr Juncen Zhou) visited the School of Life Sciences, Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi’an, China. They worked in the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Pharmaceutical Technology and the visit was in the framework of the DAAD/CSC funded project in the field of bioactive coatings for orthopedic applications. On the Chinese side Dr. Qiang Cheng, former PhD student in our institute, Ms Hongfei Qi (PhD student), Dr. Kai Dong and Prof. Liting Lu are involved (pictured).
