Prof. Boccaccini visits educational establishments in his home town in Argentina
During his holiday visit to his hometown San Rafael in Argentina, on 19th April 2017 Prof. Boccaccini visited the technical secondary school No. 4-117 Ejército de los Andes Ejercito de Los Andes” (ex ENET N°1). Prof. Boccaccini finished his secondary education (1975-1980) and earned the title of Technician in Electromechanics at ENET N°1 school back in 1980. Prof. Boccaccini was invited to give a presentation to all pupils of this secondary school telling about the path of his career since finishing his studies there in 1980 and he shared with pupils and teachers personal life experiences as researcher and professor in Germany. Prof. Boccaccini visited also National Technological University (UTN), FR San Rafael, where he started his university career and studied the basic courses of electromechanical engineering in the years 1981-1983. At UTN FR San Rafael, Prof. Boccaccini met different colleagues to discuss research collaborations in the field of nanomaterials (informed separately).
