Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was the co-president of the International Concerence “Tissue Regeneration: Advanced Ceramics and Composites” (TRACE) held in Genoa (Genova), Italy, on October 18-20, 2017. He also delivered the invited lecture entitled: “Bioactive glasses for the controlled delivery of therapeutic ions for regeneration and antibacterial effects: progress and challenges”.
