Visit from Milan
Prof. Silvia Fare and Dr. Serena Bertoldi, Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering “Giulio Natta”, Politecnico di Milano, Italy, visited the Institute of Biomaterials on 21 February 2018. We are collaborating with the group of Prof. S. Fare in the development and characterisation of bioactive glass containing biopolymer foams for bone tissue engineering and have established a student exchange program between our research groups. Prof. Fare and Prof. Boccaccini are members of the Council of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB).
