Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini to serve a second period as FEMS Executive Committee member representing DGM
At the last General Assembly of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS), held in Budapest, Hungary, on 12th July 2018, Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini (University of Erlangen-Nuremberg) was elected unanimously to serve a second period as member of the FEMS Executive Committee representing the German Materials Society (DGM) for the period 2019-2020.
Commenting on his election, Prof. Boccaccini said:
“It is a great honour to be able to represent the German Materials Society (DGM) at the Executive Committee (EC) of FEMS for a second period and I thank the trust of the DGM board. Indeed DGM is one of the largest Materials Science and Technology organizations in Europe and its active participation within the EC of FEMS has a significant impact on all future developments initiated or supported by FEMS.”
