Materials Engineering students from Warsaw University of Technology visit the Institute of Biomaterials
On 13th November 2019 we received the visit of a delegation of materials science and engineering students from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland. The visit was sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the program at FAU was coordinated by Professor Aldo R. Boccaccini (Head, Institute of Biomaterials). Fifteen students interested in biomedical materials took part in this study trip. The program included presentations of researchers from our Institute and a visit to the laboratories of the Institute where the students observed different biomaterial experiments, including 3D bioprinting, electrospinning and microcapsule production. The students benefited from academic presentations and technical discussions on their topics of interest.
