Prof. Boccaccini: invited speaker at University of Jena, Chair of Materials Science
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was an invited speaker at the Colloquium held on 14th November 2019 to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Chair of Materials Science (CMS), Otto Schott Institute for Materials Research, Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena. Prof. Boccaccini followed an invitation of the Head of the CMS, Prof. Klaus D. Jandt and presented the lecture: “Bioactive materials and biofabrication for tissue engineering; advances and challenges”. Prof. Boccaccini also remembered in his talk his mentor and PhD supervisor, Prof. Gerhard Ondracek (1934-1995), who was the first holder of the CMS at University of Jena.
