FunGlass Review Meeting in Trencin, Slovakia
The second Review Meeting of the Centre for Functional and Surface-functionalised Glasses (FunGlass) took place on November 18 – November 20, 2019, at Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, with participation of representatives of the European Commission and partners institutions, including external auditors prof. Constantine Galiotis and prof. William Lee, Ms. Pepa Krasteva, Project Officer from the Research Executive Agency, prof. Enrico Bernardo from the University of Padova, prof. Alicia Duran from CSIC Madrid, prof. Lothar Wondraczek from FSU Jena as well as prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini and Dr. Liliana Liverani from FAU Erlangen- Nuremberg. The purpose of the meeting was the evaluation of the progress in implementation of the FunGlass project during its second reporting period (June 1, 2018 – August 31, 2019). Prof. Boccaccini is member of the Scientific Board of FunGlass and our Institute is in charge of the training of FunGlass researchers in the field of biomedical glasses and composites.**
