Master students (MAP) poster presentations event
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, Dr. Julia Will and Dr. Liliana Liverani attended the Poster presentations evening of Master students of the Elite Master’s Programme “Advanced Materials and Processes“ (MAP), which took place on 5th February at Fraunhofer-Institut IISB, Erlangen. It was attended by numerous lecturers of the program from the FAU Departments of Materials Science and Engineering (WW) and Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBI). Hsuan-Heng Lu, Abdel Rahman Altakroury, Yu Zhong, Elpida Zormpa, Benedikt Hanschmann,and Sharmin Khan Antara, Master students who carried out their research projects under supervision of Prof. Boccaccini (pictured), presented posters in several research areas including: bioinks for 3D printing, fused deposition modeling of composite scaffolds, biomaterials for cancer research, and mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles. Prof. Boccaccini is the Focal Subject Chair for the Focal Subject “Biomaterials and Bioprocessing” in the Elite Master’s Programme.
