Visit from Greece
On 11-14 February 2020 we received the visit of Dr. George Kyzas, Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry at the International Hellenic University (IHU), Kavala Greece, in the framework of an Erasmus lecturership. Dr. Kyzas presented the invited talk: “Materials for environmental applications” in the Advanced Biomaterials Seminar Series 2020 of the FAU Institute of Biomaterials. Dr. Kyzas visited our laboratories and discussed possible areas for research collaborations with our Institute in the field of nanocomposites for biomedical and environmental applications. He also visited the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and the Department of Chemistry at FAU.
