Prof. Boccaccini visits Imperial College London
Prof. Boccaccini visited Imperial College London on 26-27 February 2020. Prof. Boccaccini is a visiting professor in the Department of Materials at Imperial College since 2009, when he moved to Germany to take the position of Head of the Institute of Biomaterials at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. During his visit, Boccaccini discussed research collaborations with several colleagues at Imperial including the possibility of student exchanges (research internships). Prof. Boccaccini also met Prof. Julian Jones, pictured with Prof. Boccaccini, who recently co-edited with Prof. Boccaccini and Prof. F. Baino (Polytechnic of Turin, Italy) the special issue “50 Years of Bioactive Glasses” in the journal “Biomedical Glasses”.
