German Materials Society (DGM): Board meeting
Prof. Boccaccini attended the Board meeting of the German Materials Society (DGM), held remotely on 10th June 2020. Prof. Boccaccini is the representative of DGM to the Executive Committee of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS). Prof. Boccaccini currently chairs the Board of the DGM Regionalforum Erlangen (the local chapter of DGM). The next large conference organised by DGM is the Materials Science and Engineering Congress (MSE 2020), which will be held remotely on Septemnber 22-25, 2020. Prof. Boccaccini is member of the organising committee of MSE 2020 and one of the coordinators of the topic “Biomaterials”.
