A new publication (Open Access) entitled “3D printed oxidized alginate-gelatin bioink provides guidance for C2C12 muscle precursor cell orientation and differentiation via shear stress during bioprinting” has been accepted in the journal  “Biofabrication”. This paper features the collaboration of subprojects A01, B06, B08 in the Collaborative Research Centre  SFB/TRR 225 „From the fundamentals of biofabrication towards functional tissue models”. The bioink used was oxidized alginate-gelatin (ADA-GEL). The image illustrates the orientation of ADA-GEL microstructure and oriented growth of C2C12 myoblasts in 3D printed ADA-GEL. (Adapted from the paper
