International visitors at the Institute of Biomaterials
Following the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic we received only few international visitors this summer term. We were happy to welcome Mr William Skinner (visiting student, Imperial College London, UK), and Ms Sara Guagneli (visiting student, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy), who joined Dr. Tian Zhou (visiting researcher, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China) and Ms Sihui Ouyang (visiting PhD student, Central South University, China) as international visitors in our Institute to carry out their research projects in the fields of 3D bioprinting, geopolymers, organic-inorganic composites and bioactive coatings, respectively.
