Our Institute participated in the initiative “Girls and technology 2020”
On 1^st and 2^nd September, the Institute of Biomaterials took part in the initiative “Mädchen- und-Technik Praktikum 2020” at FAU aiming to attract the interest of girls on research topics related to science and technology. In our Institute, our activities were focused on “Electrospinning for wound dressing” and the girls could also performed experimental activities (how to fabricate a scaffold and wettability test on electrospun mats with food colors), carried out under the supervision of Dr. Liliana Liverani.
