Strong participation of our Institute at MSE2020 (DGM) Conference
Our Institute was well represented at the Materials Science and Engineering Congress 2020 (MSE 2020), which took place completely in digital form on 22-25 September 2020. MSE 2020 is the biannual conference of the German Material Society (DGM). Professor Boccaccini was a member of the _Organizing Committee and he was lead organizer of the Topic Area “Biomaterials” together with Prof. C. Seehuber-Unkel (Univ. Heidelberg) and Prof. Hae Won Kim (Dankook University, S. Korea). Prof. Boccaccini and Dr. Liliana Liverani co-organised the symposium “Biomaterials Applications”. Dr. Shahin Shahin Homaeigohar (keynote lecturer) and Dr. Hui Zhu from our Institute presented in this symposium. Prof. Boccaccini was also lead organizer of the symposium “Functional Tissue Models by Biofabrication”, which presented scientific research emanating from the Collaborative Research Centre SFB/TRR225 “From the fundamentals of biofabrication towards functional tissue models”. Susanne Heid, Jonas Hazur, Emine Karakaya (PhD students) presented in this symposium.
