Prof. Edgar Zanotto (Univ. of Sao Carlos, Brazil) presents invited lecture in our Department
On 17th Nov. 2020, Prof. Edgar Zanotto, Prof. of Glass Science and Technology, Head of the Vitreous Materials Laboratory, Univ. of Sao Carlos, Brazil, was the invited speaker at the Materials Science Colloquium of the FAU Department of Materials Science and Engineering. The colloquium was hosted by Prof. Dominique De Ligny (Institute of Glass and Ceramics) and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini. Prof. Zanotto presented a lecture entitled: “Native and Artificial Intelligence Design of Polycrystalline and Vitreous Materials”. More than 120 members of the Department attended the lecture.
