Prof. Boccaccini attends Executive Committee meeting of the Federation of European Materials Societies
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the (remote) meeting of the Executive Committee (EC) of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS) , chaired by FEMS president Prof. Eric Le Bourhis, which took place on 24th November 2020. FEMS is a not-for profit association of European materials societies and associations covering several fields of materials science and engineering, including metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, glasses, nano and biomaterials in 22 different countries. Prof. Boccaccini represents the German Materials Society (DGM) in the FEMS EC since 2017. An important recent announcement made by FEMS has been the launch of the new journal: _European Journal of Materials (EJM). Prof. Boccaccini was appointed Editor for the Section: “Biomaterials for life science and healthcare” in EJM.
