Invited presentation of Florencia Abinzano (UMC Utrecht)
On 28th January, Ms Florencia Abinzano, PhD candidate at the Department of Orthopeadics, University Medical Centre (UMC) Utrecht, Netherlands, presented the invited talk “Biofabrication technologies and their applications to cartilage tissue” in the Seminar Series “Advances in Biomaterials 2021” at the Institute of Biomaterials. Florencia is carrying out her research project at the Malda Lab (Laboratory head: Professor Jos Malda) at UMC Utrecht working on developing advanced 3D biofabricated osteochondral implants, under the supervision of Dr. Riccardo Levato.
