Prof. Boccaccini: Invited speaker at ACerS-MRS Bioceramics Virtual Workshop
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was one of the invited speakers at the ACerS (American Ceramic Society)-MRS (Materials Research Society) Bioceramics Virtual Workshop “Potential and Challenges in Bioceramics – From Fundamental Research to Clinical Translation”, held on 7-8 April 2021. Prof. Boccaccini presented the talk “Bioactive glasses in tissue engineering and biofabrication”, given an overview of the applications of bioactive glasses in angiogenesis, soft tissue engineering and 3D bioprinting.
He was also a panelist in the final general discussion session of the workshop.
