Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence: training workshop hosted by our Institute
On 17th May 2021, Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini and Dr. Liliana Liverani organized the workshop “Project writing and project partner search” of the Baltic Biomaterials Centre of Excellence (BBCE). More than 50 participants attended the meeting which included six invited presentations and a final discussion session. The main objectives of BBCE is to establish a joint research centre for advanced biomaterials development based on the long-term strategic cooperation between AO Research Institute Davos, Switzerland and our Institute at FAU on the one hand and Latvia research institutions (Riga Technical University, Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis, Riga Stradins University and RSU Institute of Stomatology) on the other hand. In BBCE our Institute is in charge of the training of PhD students and post-doctoral researchers, who will start visting our Instiute from the second half of 2021. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 857287.
