QS World University Rankings(R): our University in 1st position in Germany in the category “Citations per Faculty”
The University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) <https://www.fau.de/> tops the list of German universities in the category “Citations per Faculty”, according the the latest edition of the prestigious “QS World University Rankings(R) 2022”. In this important category that indicates the impact of the research being carried out in the different Departments and Institutes, FAU is in 4th place in Europe and one of the top 20 universities worldwide. Prof. Boccaccini said: “The very high position of our University in this particular indicator, as one of the metrics used to compile the QS World University ranking, confirms the high visibility and impact of the excellent research being carried out at FAU. I am convinced that our Department of Materials Science and Engineering and our Institute of Biomaterials have a strong contribution to this success”.
