Dr. Katharina Schuhladen receives best doctoral thesis award at the FAU Faculty of Engineering Day
Many congratulations to Dr. Katharina Schuhladen, who carried our her doctoral thesis at the FAU Institute of Biomaterials under supervision of Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini. On 19th November, she received the best doctoral thesis award at the “Day of the Faculty of Engineering 2021“. The thesis is entitled: “Development of multifunctional wound dressings by using newly designed ion-doped borosilicate and borate bioactive glasses”. Katharina defended her thesis in September 2020.
