Professor Aldo R. Boccaccini is in the Top 50 of the “Stanford List”of Highly Cited Researchers in the subject “Materials”
Professor Aldo R. Boccaccini is listed as one of the highly cited researchers in the world according to the latest edition of the Stanford List of Highly Cited Researchers, published last October. He appears in the top 50 list in the subject “Materials”. The “Stanford List” represents a comprehensive analysis of citations including about 100,000 scientists. It provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted metrics, citations to papers in different authorship positions resulting in a composite indicator. The list covers 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields. The selection is based on the top 100,000 by c-score (with and without self-citations) or a percentile rank of 2% or above. The methodology used and related information is available in an open access data base: https://elsevier.digitalcommonsdata.com/datasets/btchxktzyw/3.
The citation information is compiled in a publication by Baas, Jeroen; et al., August 2021 data-update for “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators”, Mendeley Data, V3, and the data are from Scopus.
