Prof. Boccaccini: Keynote speaker at (hybrid) II. Y-CGMed Workshop in Madrid
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini presented the keynote lecture: “Bioactive glasses and glass-ceramics releasing multiple biologically active ions for regenerative medicine” at the Second Workshop for Young Researchers in Ceramics and Glasses for Medical Applications (Y-CGMed), held in hybrid form in Madrid on 5-6 May 2022. From our Institute, also Marcela Arango-Ospina (PhD student) attended the workshop and presented the talk “Biological effects of ionic dissolution products of bioactive glasses for bone regeneration”. The workshop was held in the framework of the LVIII Congress of the Ceramic and Glass Spanish Society_, in the Ceramic and Glass Institute (ICV-CSIC) on Madrid, Spain.
