Florencia Diaz wins “Best Poster” award at Final ACHILLES Conference in Portugal
Florencia Diaz, PhD student at the FAU Institute of Biomaterials, won the ‘Best Poster’ Award at the Final Achilles Conference “Tendon Regeneration: a throwback to the lessons learned and prospects to the future”, which was held in person on May 25th – 27th, 2022, in Guimaraes, Portugal. She presented the poster titled “TISSUE ENGINEERED TENDON SCAFFOLD FUNCTIONALIZED WITH INORGANIC NANOPARTICLES”, in collaboration with Prof. Boccaccini, showing results of her PhD project being carried out in the framework of the EU H2020-MCSA-ITN-EJD network “Perspectives For Future Innovation in Tendon repair (P4FiT). The conference was organized by the TWINNING H2020 European ACHILLES Project.
