Akrity Anand received the Young researchers‘ BEST ORAL PRESENTATION AWARD, topic: “Gels Porous Materials”, at FEMS Junior Euromat 2022 conference in Coimbra, Portugal (19-22 July, 2022). Akrity is a PhD student of the University of Trencin, FunGlass Center, Trencin, Slovakia, supervised by Prof. Dagmar Galuskova under co-supervision (co-tutelle) of Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini at FAU. She presented the oral communication: “Multifunctional copper and strontium co-doped mesoporous bioactive glass: preparation, characterization and bioactivity”. Akrity is currently carrying out research activities at the FAU Institute of Biomaterials. Well done!
