Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini named Outstanding Personality of his hometown city of San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina
On 16th August 2022, Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini was named Outstanding Personality (“Personalidad destacada”) of the city of San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina, his hometown. The City Council of San Rafael recognizes in this way Prof. Boccaccini not only for his successful scientific career with stages in Germany, UK, and the USA, but also for his commitment to the interaction between Argentinean scientists abroad and the Argentinean scientific community, including his strong links and collaboration with the universities in his hometown. Boccaccini said: “I am very honored to receive this very special and emotional recognition in my native city and look forward to further interacting with the university community of the city and the country. I thank specially City Councilor Lic. Clarisa Barchiesi and all the other City Council members for this recognition”.
