Visit from Greece
Prof. Eleana Kontosaki and Dr. Georgia Pouroutzidou from School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, visited the Institute of Biomaterials from 4.10 to 11.10.2022 in the framework of the DAAD-funded project (Greek-German collaboration, IKYDAAD) entitled “Innovative ultrafast in-situ forming hydrogels with intrinsic antimicrobial properties for immediate hemostasis and tissue regeneration for wound healing applications in the oral cavity”. Prof. Aldo Boccaccini, Ms. Zoya Hadzhieva and Ms. Faina Bider, as part of the German research team, took part in the discussions on the progress of the project and future activities. Moreover, Prof. Kontosaki and Dr. Pouroutzidou attended the symposium celebrating the 60th Birthday of Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini.
