Hazel Simila attends the “Academy of Dental Materials (ADM) Annual Conference” in Athens, Greece
Hazel Simila, a second year PhD candidate in our institute and recipient of a DAAD scholarship, took part in the “Academy of Dental Materials (ADM) Annual Conference”, which took place in Athens, Greece from September 28- October 1, 2022. The theme of the symposium was “Progress In Dental Materials And Digital Engineering” and it featured invited speakers from various niches of dental materials research. Hazel’s poster presentation on “Mesoporous Bioactive Glass Nanoparticles and Tricalcium Silicate: Comparative Investigations” was shortlisted for the the Paffenbarger Award, whose aim is to encourage students to conduct research in dental materials and pursue an academic career.
