Dr. Agustina Aldana (MERL, Maastricht University, NL) visits the Institute of Biomaterials
On 8th December 2022 we received the visit of Dr. Agustina Aldana, post-doctoral research fellow and holder of a prestigious Marie Curie Individual Fellowship at MERLN – Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine, Maastricht University, The Netherlands. Dr. Aldana presented the invited lecture: “Designing Photo-responsive Double Network Hydrogels for Tissue Engineering”, which was hosted also in the framework of the Seminar Series of the Collaborative Research Centre TRR/SFB “From the fundamentals of biofabrication towards functional tissue models”. Dr. Aldana was a research visitor in our Institute (2017/2018) when she was based at INTEMA, Mar del Plata, Argentina, in the framework of a MinCyT-DAAD collaborative research project. During her last visit we discussed possibilities of collaboration in the field of multicomponent hydrogels for biofabrication.
