Prof. Boccaccini marks 25 years of public service in Germany
On 27th Jan., Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the ceremony hosted by FAU President Prof. Joachim Hornegger (pictured with Prof. Boccaccini), to mark 25 years of public service in Germany. The event took place in the FAU Castle (headquaters of the University) with participation of many FAU colleagues who marked 40 or 25 years of public service. Before joining FAU as Professor and Head of the Institute of Biomaterials in 2009, the career of Prof. Boccaccini in Germany included stages at RWTH Aachen and TU Ilmenau while he had spent other periods of his career in Argentina, UK and USA. Prof. Boccaccini said: “Despite the many years spent abroad, in Argentina, UK and USA, I am happy to mark a quarter of a century of public service in Germany. Looking forward to several more years of academic activities at FAU!”.
