Progress meeting of EU project Nanobloc(R)
The progress meeting of the EU (Horizon Europe) project Nanobloc(R) (ANTIVIRAL, ANTIBACTERIAL & ANTIFUNGAL NANOCOATING PLATFORM) took place online on 23rd June 2023. Ms Zoya Hadzhieva, Mr Muhammad Asim Akhtar (PhD students) and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini (principal investigator) attended the meeting. The project involves the collaboration of three academic partners (Polytechnic of Turin, University of Turin and our Institute at FAU) and several industrial partners from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain. It is coordinated by Prof. Monica Ferraris from Polytechnic of Turin. Our Institute is involved in the development of sol-gel derived and electrophoretic antibacterial coatings. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme under grant agreement nr. 101057597.
