1st Biomaterials Research Day at FunGlass Center
Co-organised by Dr. Martin Michálek (Head of Department, FunGlass Center, Trencin, Slovakia and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, the 1st Biomaterials Research Day of the Department of Biomaterials at FunGlass Center was held on 24th November 2023 in hybrid form. This was a scientific symposium with presentations from researchers from FunGlass Center and from the FAU Institute of Biomaterials, including presentations from joint projects in the frame of the long standing collaboration between both Institutes. Prof. Boccaccini said: “I am very happy that we could organise this 1st Biomaterials Research Day within the Department of Biomaterials at FunGlass Center. It was a very fruitful meeting based on top presentations by early career researchers showcasing the wide scope of biomaterials being investigated in both centers, the excellent results achieved in collaboration and identifying new areas for future interactions”.
