Prof. Boccaccini at the General Assembly of European Virtual Institute on Knowledge-based Multifunctional Materials (KMM-VIN) in Brussels
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the General Assembly Meeting of the European Virtual Institute on Knowledge-based Multifunctional Materials (KMM-VIN ), which was held on 21st February 2024 in Brussels. Prof. Boccaccini is a founding member of KMM-VIN and he has been the coordinator of the Working Group Biomaterials (WG3) (together with Prof. C. Hellmich, Technical University of Vienna, Austria, pictured with Prof. Boccaccini) since the establishment of the network in 2007. Boccaccini attended also the meeting of the Governing Council of KMM VIN held on the same day and he chaired the meeting of the Working Group Biomaterials on 22nd February 2024. KMM-VIN is a European initiative that offers integrated basic and applied research, educational and innovation activities in the field of knowledge-based multifunctional materials. The aim of KMM-VIN is to foster the creation of a platform for research and development and industrial application of advanced multifunctional materials, thus contributing to enhancing the quality of life of European society.
