Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the retreat of the FAU Department of Materials Science and Engineering
The retreat of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (WW Department) of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg took place on 22-23 February 2024 in Fürth (Bavaria). Prof. Boccaccini attended the meeting representing the FAU Institute of Biomaterials, the Chair VII (WW7) of the WW Department. The retreat was fundamental in the planning of the Department strategy for the next years. Prof. Boccaccini said: “It was an insightful and productive meeting. Talking with colleagues from other Chairs it is nice to confirm the strengths of our Department in terms of quality and quantity of our research outputs, level of extramural funding and quality of our teaching. I am in no doubt that materials science / engineering has a great future at FAU!”.
