Visit from Karabük University, Turkey
Assoc. Prof. Hamza Simsir, Karabük University, Turkey, visited the FAU Institute of Biomaterials on 17-19 April 2024, in the framework of an Erasmus’s short-term mobility program. He presented the seminar: “Introduction to hydrothermal carbon materials and their applications” to all members of the Institute. Prof. Simsir discussed with Prof. Boccaccini and members of our Institute possibilities for collaboration in the field of carbonaceous (nano)particles for biomedical applications. He also visited the labs. of our Institute together with Ertugrul Varlik (PhD student in collaboration with FunGlass Center, Slovakia) (pictured with Prof. Boccaccini and Prof. Simsir).
